My partner and I had a wonderful stay in Archers Cottage. It truly felt like a cozy home away from home. The cottage was clean, well-presented, and had everything we needed for our self-catering stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it hard to leave in the mornings! David and Moira, our friendly hosts, made us feel very welcome. The location was beautifully quiet, surrounded by peaceful countryside, yet only a short drive away from shops and restaurants.
Can recommend this hotel.

Wonderful quiet location, friendly hosts, beautifully furnished, everything you need for a self-catering stay. the cottage is in a peaceful setting surrounded by beautiful countryside, giving you the perfect opportunity to relax and unwind after a long day. the cottage itself was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay, including a well-equipped kitchen and a cozy living area.
Difficult to find in the dark, could use better signage and lighting. the lanes leading to the cottage were un-named, making it challenging to find our way back in the dark.

The cottage had a beautiful private garden where we could relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The hosts were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was great, with easy access to nearby attractions and picturesque countryside.
The cottage lacked some essential amenities that we expected for our Christmas stay. The kitchen was not well-equipped, making it difficult to cook a proper holiday meal.

We had such a wonderful stay at Archers Cottage! It truly felt like a home away from home. The self-catering facilities were excellent and the cottage was spotlessly clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it hard to get up in the mornings. David and Moira were fantastic hosts, providing a warm welcome with local cider and fresh eggs. The location was peaceful and secluded, yet still within a short drive of shops and places to eat. We can't recommend this beautiful place enough!
